The sunset in this photograph transforms the normally black gabbro rock of the Cuillins into a flaming red. Taken from Glen Brittle, it looks towards Sgurr Alasdair and Sgurr Mhic Coinnich, the highest peaks in the Cuillins and named after two of the most prominent pioneers of climbing in these mountains, Nicholson and Mackenzie.
