This amphitheatre of weirdly-shaped pinnacles and rocky outcrops lies in the Trotternish peninsula of Northern Skye, just off the little hill road which links Uig to Staffin. Bearing names such as "The Needle", "The Table" and "The Prison", the whole area is really a well-eroded landslip. From the summit of Meall Suiramach astounding views of Gairloch and Torridon to the east, the Outer Isles to the west, and the Cuillins are quite unmatched.
