Ben Cruachan towers magnificently above Loch Awe, presenting incomparable views of the Glencoe hills to the north, and the Western Seaboard north and south of the Oban area, complete with its many islands. It has seven peaks over 3,000 feet, and is one of Scotland's most popular mountains.
