The Cobbler (Ben Arthur) lies to the northwest of the village of Arrochar at the head of Loch Long. Within easy reach of Glasgow, this mountain was highly popular with climbers, particularly during the depression years, and continuing still into the present day, since it offers a high standard of rock climbing throughout the year.
