The little crofting village of Dornie lies at the point where Loch Long meets Loch Duich, Wester Ross.  Eilean Donan Castle is one of the primary tourist attractions in the area.  Nearby Kyle of Lochalsh is the primary stepping-off point for both the Isle of Skye and the Western Isles.
