Barry Mill, near Carnoustie, complete with lade and water wheel, is a well-preserved example of an early 19th century working mill.  All traditional implements are still used here in the various milling processes.  In former days this mill would have been a popular meeting place for the local agricultural community.  Nearby Burnside and Buddon Links make Carnoustie Golf Club world famous.
