The beautiful glen between Buachaille Etive Mor (The Great Shepherd of Etive) and Buachaille Etive Beag (The Little Shepherd of Etive) is known as the Lairig Gartain.  This photograph was taken in early spring from Glen Etive.   Loch Etive is home of the legendary Deirdre of the Sorrows in Celtic folklore.
