At 3,766 feet, this mountain is the highest point in Argyll, and in many ways one of the most spectacular mountains in Glencoe. Its sheer cliffs offer a wealth of climbs in both winter and summer. Its name translates as "The Pinnacle of the Hides", possibly since the local members of Clan Iain (MacDonald) kept livestock here in comparative safety. |
