Until recent years Dairsie Castle was little more than a ruin, but was rebuilt a few years ago. It stands two and a half miles northeast of Cupar, Fife, and was owned by the Learmonts in 1520. The immediate area surrounding the castle is a microcosm of history, the church having been built in 1622, and the bridge below the church in 1522. |
