The Borders town of Moffat is situated on the River Annan at the centre of sheep farming country. This beautiful little town is steeped in Covenanting history, having been visited variously by Burns and Boswell. The rivers Annan, Clyde and Tweed have their sources nearby. This statue of the famous Moffat Ram dominates the town centre.
